I then took some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Spray and water and let the color run into the background with the sprayed water. . Love how you've incorporated the embossed leaves on your second card. I am a huge penguin fan and these guys crack me up so much! I know there are some people that don’t like it…or maybe the “scary” things that come from it, but for me, the more scary, the better! I was also inspired by Jeanette Comerford and her tutorial with combining the penguin with the other digital feather papers and sentiment. (The background papers along with a couple of sentiments were given as a digital freebie during the event as well.) Aren’t those penguin eyeballs the best?! I also die cut a butterfly to add as an accent along with the stitched wave border die to cut my edge with.

Do you remember this image from Whimsy Stamps last year? Time to celebrate!!

This is the second stamp in the set Christmas Dragon Cheer that was just released from Whimsy Stamps.

I have tweaked a few things about the cards here and there, but not much was changed as we were pretty much provided everything needed including some cool products!, At the bottom, I took a photo of one of the stamp sets that was provided to use for the event.

The teeth were left white, but I used a white gel pen to color them in a bit for more prominent whiteness. If you have resisted up until now maybe this is your gentle nudge to grab it, I think this bear has it made, and is doing exactly what I would be doing if the weather was right. This was such a fun card to create and it will be perfect for a winter birthday I will have coming up soon!  The way I’ve been crafting behind, this will help out to have ready on hand when I need it! This image is called Rainy Day Smiles by Sassy Cheryl’s which is what I had actually won as a prize from the event over the weekend for one of the games..so that was cool! When it’s dark, look for stars.” The first thing that came to my mind was these cool Rainbow Papers from Whimsy Stamps and so I’ve cut a panel out with an older Whimsy Stamps die along with the image panel. I used one panel for the entire background base that was mounted over a blue 5″ square top folding card base. I’m glad I had this challenge! After having some computer issues and trying to figure out what’s going on…I realized how far behind I am with my crafting!
