I was met by chris he showed me down to the lakes and with the paperwork out the way he gave a really good run down of the lakes including dipping of nets his knowledge is great .not long after i was set up fishing i had 6 fish out Friday then seven Saturday all the fish were in great condition its a really nice place its clean, the swims are marked out, it also felt safe doing an overnight , the bailiff ,chris would pass by to see how things were going as he placed other anglers you can tell he enjoys fishing and what he is doing at blacklands this is a fishery that has got it right i enjoyed my stay there i will be returning to very soon big thank you to chris keep up the good work thanks simon. They were super noisy and I couldn’t believe in covid times that groups that size were allowed.

Simply the Best campsite in Sussex for familys ! We recently stayed at Blacklands Farm Campsite for two nights in November and it’s a site we’d recommend. The lake was nice. Lots of swings with tyres on which was a nice addition to kids playing outside of the play area. Clean toilets and showers and they also now have 2 brand new shower blocks which are lovely. We were there through all the horrible wind so their barn was a good place to take shelter.

Annoyingly, the showers weren't the cleanest so we couldn't feel fresh. The quiet times overnight were well enforced, but their warden was a bit officious with the playground rules. Only downside was not enough toilets/showers for size of site in my opinion. There are different fields, ours close to the massive children's playground, others beyond a row of trees near the fishing lake and another quieter one beyond the trees and over a hedge.
