The bulbous beast Kraid rises from below. Don't waste missiles on the worm's closed eye or its sides. Find another Chozo statue with the next power-up; it's the varia suit, which decreases your damage taken from enemies and protects you against acid and heat. Mecha Ridley | Instead of using the door to the right, go underneath the statue and set a bomb to open a route left. So you can return to the right and restock up on health and ammunition before proceeding further to mother brain. Use your primary weapon to eliminate the platforms (and nearby enemies). Return up the lift and back into Norfair. Move to the middle of the hallway and jump straight up to enter a hidden passage.

Drop down inside it and use a bomb to propel upward. Melissa Bergman | Go quickly into the next room on the left. Start from the far left (below the statue) and run straight to the right and into the next room. Your wave beam can get this slug out of the way. Enter the blue door on the left. Upon defeating Ridley, exit to the right.

Julius | Use your ice beam to freeze the enemies. Save your game again if you wish. This destroys it and sends pirates plummeting.

Ganon | Shoot the path's obstructions and continue to the main route up toward the top of the map. Now with hi-jump, it's a breeze leaping up into the upper room. Destroy the tougher tentacles with your missiles to break through. Duck and shoot the blockage to reveal a passage. Duck again to charge. If you get close, they'll latch on to your torso and cause damage. Grab it! Rayquaza | Freeze the floating enemies and use them as platforms to reach the central creature's weak spot. Continue right into the save game room. Boos | Next, leap from the stable floor to the ledge on the upper left. Colonel Pluck | Destroy the hostile space creatures in your way and keep rolling until you break through the floor and meet up with another Missile Tank.

Before ascending this vertical area, enter the door on the left to find a save game room. Set a bomb and destroy the floor to open a new passageway down. Destroy the blocks and squeeze through the tunnel. You'll reach a platform underneath a missile tank above. Save your game again as you near the final battle in Tourian. Kraid will open his mouth.

Jump over the blocks ahead and grab the item from the Chozo statue. Exit the save game room to the left. Kraid | Use it to destroy the upper blocks. Head to the right and locate your first energy tank resting on a post.

The enemies that emerge from pipes reappear even if you don't exit the room completely. The final boss encounter lies to the upper right corner of the map. Yaldabaoth | For one path, head back up to the main shaft to eventually find a red door leading off the right wall of the shaft, through there you'll eventually reach Kraid and a Missile Tank along the way. Work carefully to the right until you reach the end of the hall. Move through and open the red door with a missile. Before you exit the room to the left, drop down into the recess (where the creature came from). To get a shot at the tentacles, you must use the floating enemies that appear from the creature's belly. The next room is your first encounter with the metroids and the door turns white behind you, keeping you inside. Proceed to the right and use the zip line to cross. Use your primary weapon to destroy more blocks obstructing the path to the right. Go up here until you run out of platforms with just enemies above you. Validar | Kamek | You'll spot your first red door to your right. Find footing and repeat the attack on Kraid: one missile against his eye to open the mouth then additional missiles into the open mouth. This device will propel you upward at a very fast rate; all it requires is a little explosive charge. Drop down again and exit to the right. Shoot Kraid with missiles in his open mouth. Leap over the robot and drop down until you reach the pirates below. Report. Exit to the far right. Use your bomb to destroy the blocks along the ground. This enemy hangs from the ceiling. At the far left end of the next room, duck to charge the boost. Roll back to the right and drop down the long shaft. To set a bomb, press the "B" button while in morph ball form. Super Metroid. Mr. At the top, enter the door on the right. Kip | There's another propulsion device here. Use the small ledges to ascend the room with power grip. Drop into the pool and watch it disappear.

Kraid, known amongst fans as "Meta Kraid" in a manner similar to the game's Meta Ridley, was supposed to be a boss in the first Metroid Prime game, but was cut and replaced with the Omega Pirate. While in the device, drop a bomb and you'll be propelled into an upper chamber containing a missile tank. Continue to follow and fire at the creature until it's destroyed. The awarded artwork varies depending on difficulty level, completion time, and item percentage. Now head back left. This walkthrough will direct you from start-to-finish of the entire game, but keep in mind that I won't discuss any sequence breaking tactics during the course of the walkthrough. Normally you would wait until you have hi-jump boots so you can jump in ball form but you can use the bomb-jumping technique to enter the zip line. Some power-ups are mandatory, such as the morph ball and bomb. You're now in the cavern that you explored to find the larva. You'll soon reach a dead-end. This tunnel is currently hazardous to Samus. You can't continue on until you either defeat this beast or force it to run away. Necrozma | Kyurem | Grab hold of the ledges and shoot the necessary blocks to reach the missile tanks on the far end. Jump onto the first platform to the left. You can't exit through the red door on the left without missiles--but there is an exit to the left. Now that you are back in the main shaft, jump over to the right side of the wall and grab onto a hidden ledge. Galleom | Father Balder | Enter the door at the end. In the next room, blast through some enemy scum and continue to the left, into a room with a Red Hatch. When you reach the blocks, shoot them to open a path.

Go to the left; shoot the blocks to clear a path. Just before she does, she turns purple. Proceed upward. None Defeat the space pirates and the hangar door opens. Explore the roots of the saga behind legendary bounty hunter, Samus Aran, in this retelling of the NES classic. He becomes a giant dinosaur-like monster with three eyes, and three holes on his stomach which can shoot out t. rex-like arms. Your goal is to shoot the center circle when the symbol appears. Avoid the pirate on the left as you reach the room's top and find the door on the upper right side.

Bomb the blocks just below the tank then use a morph ball jump to snag the power-up. You must use space jump to carefully navigate the passage and grab the energy tank at the far end. Exit the Norfair lift and proceed to the right (through the save game room). Instead of getting it, drop down through the hole in the floor.

In his Super Metroidappearance, he gains the ability to spew out rock-like projectiles from his mouth. Head left from your start position and leap over the obstruction. You'll drop down. Crawl through the tunnel at the bottom leading right. Drop back down and continue left and you'll enter a secret route connecting to Crateria. Emperor Ing |

Hop out of the tunnel and use the pillars to reach a door on the upper left side of the ruins. Hop over it to the right side of the chamber. This opens a hole toward the ground level. Byrne | Bombs: The bombs can inflict damage on enemies and destroy specific blocks (generally the grey blocks with a red circle in its center). In the next room, blast the block near the ceiling and roll through to the other side. He was shown with blue Phazon veins running up his abdomen and a metal guard on his head. Kraid is a large reptilian creature and the most prominent Space Pirate aside from Ridley and Mother Brain. Run interrupted and you will enter speed booster. Napalm Man | Once Samus deals the final blow, Kraid partially sinks into the ground and lets out a loud shriek before exploding, allowing Samus to gain the Speed Booster. Two rooms before fighting Kraid, a much smaller version of Kraid, known popularly as Mini Kraid, is fought. Roll through the tunnel along the bottom of the screen going left. You can now break a block at the top permitting access to a door on the upper left. The route back into Chozodia contains more power-ups. Continue to the left and exit into this vertical chasm. Enter Ridley's lair. Type of Villain Maneuver through the tunnel into a secret room on the other side. These enemies are excellent sources of health and ammo. Exit the door in the top left corner of the room. Work your way up through the lava and find a power bomb tank at the top. Go left past where you found Energy Tank #2 in the ceiling and in the next room, Bomb through the floor. Set bombs to destroy a section of the floor and open the route toward the tank. Break the middle blocks in the adjacent room and go left into save room. Roll inside and set a bomb. Bumpety Bombs | Crush the blocks to the far side to find the missile tank. Return to the left (while on the same level ground) and start running. Shoot the wall to break it then the block along the floor to provide a tight crawlspace. Defeat the pirates in the next hall and climb up to the upper blue door on the right. Since it explores most of the game, you won't complete the game with a low time completion by following this walk-through but you will complete the game. Duck again to charge. Hop into the zip line in morph ball form by using the device on the far right. Taking Samus Aran through the depths of Zebes in this remake of the Paper Bowser | You couldn't open it before but now you have the key: missiles! You should be ready to return to Brinstar now.

Master Core |

Fawful | Enter the next blue door and into the Chozo Ruins. At first things seem rather easy. Demon King Arzodius | You can destroy the block obstructing the exit now. You won't open this route for awhile so ignore it for now. Use them as platforms to reach the lift. Exit to the left and work your way down the next shaft.

Shake King | Solidus Snake | Redd | All I had for protection was my rather useless emergency pistol. The original Metroid game makes its way to the Game Boy Advance as part of the Classic NES Series. Here you'll encounter another Chozo statue holding another vital item. Instead, go through the left door. Jump on and slide across, picking up Energy Tank #3 along the way. Enter the next area and get ready for a fight as soon as you slide to the left side of the acid pool. When the creature is at its peak, shoot it with the ice beam. Exit the pool and use the Chozo statue. You will be propelled upward by the bomb explosions. His appearance is based on his Zero Mission appearance. You must also dodge lightning bolts. You'll shoot through the cavern to the left and drop just to the right of a small platform in one of Brinstar's vertical areas. Go inside here and proceed to the left; there is no way to avoid the acid waterfall, so run through it, all the way to the left, blasting your enemies as you go. Go into the new passageway and unlock the red door with a missile. Metal Sonic | It's white and currently locked.
