Walter was a devoted husband, an involved and engaged dad to their three children, and a doting grandfather affectionately called Babu. Growing up in Willow Grove, Walter was educated in the Abington School District graduating from Abington High School in 1969. With an engaging personality and wonderful sense of humor, Walter brought life to any gathering. He excelled in track and was State Champion in the 1-Mile Relay and a Distance and Cross-Country Runner. Walter was the oldest of three children born to the late Walter Jones Sr. and the late Rubye Edmonds Jones. Walter Jones Jr. was born on March 15, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Walter accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Crestmont in Willow Grove, PA. Before joining Brown Advisory in May 2015, Walter worked at 2CG Senhouse Investments on the sales and marketing team servicing UK-based discretionary clients.
