I think some of the reviews here are out of date. Couldn't really have been better. Staff are all great. Having been there I can see why it was so highly rated. Only slight downside was to find out at the end of the meal that the card machine hadn’t been working all day. I would highly recommend anyone to pay the little unassuming restaurant a go. Service was very attentive as always. There was only 4 of us. I had haggis soup - it was Burns night, absolutely delicious, my husband a black pudding risotto. A great experience of simple well executed flavours (Rating 4.8/.

At this point the waiter did apologise for the noise and asked if it was out first visit, we replied that indeed it was. One of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow. The menu - on my visit - had lost its Scottishness. Visited for the first time on 7/2/17 loved it, will certainly be back, Small but lovely place, looks like used by locals. First of all I have to say I love the name of the place! The food was excellent - we had a hard job choosing as there was nothing that didn't take our fancy. The decor was open and contemporary, though it is a small place. The court heard Beaton said he simply sat in an armchair and the pair chatted for a while before she left the room briefly and at that point he got into her bed and fell asleep. Booked it on sister in laws recommendation and dragged along 11 of our nearest and dearest. We're delighted to announce our Burns' Supper Tasting Evening on Thursday 23rd January - 5 courses, each with a tasting dram to match, for £29.95 per head. My food was amazing, and I would, without a doubt, eat there again. I like the fact that you can BYOB here, although they also have a wine list. My wife had the cat fish and I had the vegetarian gnocchi. Not bog standard wine list. How long before it happens in Britain? On Saturday I opted to start my meal with confit duck & spring onion hash, truffle oil, pomegranate & capers. Couldn't really have been better. Although he said he was '99 per cent sure' nothing had happened, the woman requested a medical examination later that day. First time there and arrived a bit concerned as it was to celebrate a 60th birthday and so really wanted it to be good. Choice of food was excellent.Cooking equally good. What more can you ask for will definitely be back. This was our 3 visit and we certainly weren't disappointed. Make sure you bring cash as no cards! Great atmosphere on a very busy evening. Lovely meal. We will definitely return next time we make it to Glasgow. True to form we all picked the same dish which didn't give us a true picture of the food but observing what was being served to our fellow diners it all looked good .

We arrived just after 5pm and were shown to our table and had a look over the menu. This restaurant is a real find in Glasgow. Homemade loaf, basil oil, olives to share while you wait £4, parsnip purée, roast chorizo & an apple gel, with squash & pearl barley, topped with cheddar mash & served with a garlic cream sauce, Stir fried sprouts, chorizo, garlic butter £3.50.

The welcome was lovely, staff very friendly. The ginger bread parfait was ridiculously good...would go back for that alone!
