10/10. Cemuhook 0.5.3.1 comes with a BotW crash workaround patch pack ! To understand the performance you have to understand what is happening in the background. Test it out and report how it works, make sure your log.txt contains "Applying patch group BotwPlsNoCrashVXX from pack 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - LWZX Crash workaround' to module mainModule" otherwise you didn't enable it ! Cemu hook Cemu hook (or Cemuhook) is a plugin built by Rajkosto, with help from Exzap, which started as a solution to the lack of.h264 video support (green videos).
I won 5 fps with Cemuhook ! Cemuhook gives Zelda a little bit more performance and removes the VSync from the game, it also makes the FMV (Cutscenes) play, which they normally don't. It is the 19th release in the main The Legend of Zelda series. ), so you arent really testing if my pack is fixing them or not. To be clear, not everyone will have the same performance as i did on the video, it will depend on your PC Build so your mileage may vary. OP explains it, please read full text (it doesnt matter). Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. I forgot to record the in-game sound so i replaced it with a Zelda theme that i enjoy. This plugin also featured the first use of the GX2SetGPUFence function, Cemu's first hack. Or should we just run both. Will your latest still work?
To achieve the performance of the video i used the following: Cemu 1.7.3d (http://cemu.info/releases/cemu_1.7.3.zip), Cemuhook 0310 (https://sshnuke.net/cemuhook/), Zlauncher v0.3 (http://www92.zippyshare.com/v/3jIMbJof/file.html). The Patreon release was just updated to 1.9.0b. cemuhook.ini is located in the main folder, where cemu.exe is also located. Can you have zlauncher auto load the hack? Get it at the usual place: https://sshnuke.net/cemuhook/, Activating the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - LWZX Crash workaround" graphic pack should bypass the crashes like the Exzap patch in 1.8.1t1 and onward does, but using a surgical knife instead of a blunt hammer, it should avoid adding the extra issues that one has (like increased blood moon frequency and texture swaps), Usable on any cemu version 1.8.1-1.9.0, regardless if you have the internal cemu BotW crash workaround enabled in the Debug menu or not. Previously 4k provided way too low fps to be the least enjoyable.
I do hear tell of it taking forever every time for some people though.
At least start by updating to the latest Cemu 1.19 before you come with issues your version is nearly a year old. If an alternative controller is being emulated, you may open the Separate Gamepad View to do the same. Examples of devices with limitations are a DualShock3 (only 1 axis gyroscope) and a non-MotionPlus Wii Remote (only accelerometer).
Can I just not use zlauncher and get the same experience? Thanks rajkosto. In this guide I’ll help you how to run The Legend of Zelda: BotW on PC using Cemu 1.11.2 Emulator. We have updated our CEMU guides.
Is there a way to fix this? Tested with 1.9.0, works well, no random crashes, no blood moons. I downloaded ZLauncher from github but there is no ini or exe file. Cemu 1.7.4 comes out on Aprl 2nd, and it's gonna solve a whole lot of those problems, check my other video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjieeYRcYb0. I get an error message saying "Access is denied", but cemu starts correctly(automatically in full screen) and loads the shaders.
Usable on any cemu version 1.8.1-1.9.0, regardless if you have the internal cemu BotW crash workaround enabled in the Debug menu or not.
Just drop the .dll inside. By default, you have no cemuhook.ini, but if you toggle/change a cemuhook setting, it creates the cemuhook.ini file in the main dir. Still get crashes using stasis runes every 2nd or 3rd time quite consistent on 1.9.0 with latest hook plus crash workaround on or off seems to only happen in shrines.
Any ideas? Took 50 minutes to load shaders, Links body sinks into the ground, can't do quests, 20fps.
My PC is older: i7-3770, GTX 970, 32GB RAM. Played around with this enabled, had Exzap fix turned off, still crashed when switching&using sheikah runes. To be clear, not everyone will have the same performance as i did on the video, it will depend on your PC Build so your mileage may vary. You can take a look at how i configured mine in order to understand how to do yours.
The shader issue is caused by your older Cemu process locking access to your cache after it crashes. Or I'll have to keep the error message opened? Just download rivia tuner statistics server. Dang.
Ordinarily after you load all the shaders once subsequent times should take max a minute. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts.
Part 2: when I load Cemu and start BOTW while the emu precompiles shader cache (around 8000 shaders) it crashes and Cemu closes but when I reopen it the game runs without precompiling shaders although it's running smoothly with a bit of lag here and there while it loads a couple of shaders...did it just precompile everything and this lag is unavoidable although I have shaders cache precompile folder set up with a lot of shaders or am I missing something that Cemuhook can solve ? You might be able to tell, but occasionally the game gets just a bit too fast, but even then, it's incredibly smooth and playable. So I have a two-part question, I read about Cemuhook but didn't fully understand what it does can someone briefly explain plz ? Cemuhook is for h.264 playback they explain that right on their website. To make sure you are following the latest one’s, please visit the links below. It can limit (mostly) every single game/ program you play, plus it comes with a fps counter, [12:18:13] Applying patch group BotwPlsNoCrashV97 from pack 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - LWZX Crash workaround' to module mainModule (checksum 0xD71D859D), [12:18:54] Depth buffer size too small.
If I close the pop-up, cemu closes as well. Close. I've recently just switched over to using Vulkan and can now play at either of those resolutions/fps. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts, http://www92.zippyshare.com/v/3jIMbJof/file.html, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjieeYRcYb0. If it loaded shader cache it depends on if you are running it in OpenGL or Vulkan, there shouldn't be any stuttering in OpenGL if you cached your shaders, with Vulkan it'll stutter a bit as it compiles them on the fly. You need to update Cemu.
Effective size: 320x180 Real size: 320x180 Mismatching texture: f553f000 320x180 fmt 080e [12:18:54] Depth buffer size too small.
Also, what /u/rajkosto said. Neither this nor Exzap crash workaround affect crashes due to using powers. Now, to actually play the game just execute Zlauncher and make sure that when the game is launching and Cemu is preparing the cache, you will come out of Fullscreen (Alt+Enter) and click on the Options tab, and then select the "GX2SetGPUFence skip (HACK)". Ok so when I try to use zlauncher itll load CEMU but not the game. Where can I find the Exzap one? The wait is over, anyone with decent processing power (CPU + GPU) can easily play The Legend of Zelda: BotW game on 30-60 fps. Install Zlauncher in a different folder, and open the Zlauncher.ini and configure the path for both Cemu 1.7.3 and Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The following solutions are full-motion because they provide a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer. Basically the title. What Is Cemuhook?
I was using latest version but I have AMD GPU so I was suggested Vulkan which was almost unplayable, when I switched back to v1.15 which only supports OpenGL the game runs smoothly at around 60fps except for when it loads a couple of shaders, Press J to jump to the feed. I might be updating my video card eventually, maybe. Do we need to disable the Exzap one to get rid of the blood moons etc. ZLauncher does something similar but not the same, ZLauncher basically automates the Speedhack function of Cheatengine, giving you around 2x the performance.
